Product Description:
Product Name: Alloy Steel Torx Socket Head Cap Screws
Dimensional standard: All bolts meet ASME Standard ASME/ANSI B 18.3 (Table 1-III) - 2012
Torx Socket Head Cap Screws have six curved recessed corners, and the head groove is hexagonal (star-shaped). When tightening, Torx screwdrivers (such as T10, T25) are required to drive the screws. Compared to hexagonal socket head cap screws, Torx screws have a larger contact area on the groove's curved surface, stronger friction, higher efficiency, uniform stress distribution, smaller potentially damaging radial forces, and stronger anti-slip capabilities, making them suitable for high-torque applications. Additionally, due to the uniqueness of the Torx Bit, the hexagonal groove also provides a certain degree of anti-theft protection. The measurement method for these screws is the same as that for hexagonal socket head cap screws, starting from below the head.
