"Continuous unwinding" is a technology that enables automatic material roll switching on a continuous production line, ensuring that the main equipment does not need to stop when a new roll is installed, thus maintaining continuous production. This technology is widely used in industries such as printing, packaging, lithium battery separators, papermaking, textiles, and metal foil processing where roll materials are processed.
Core principle: It is achieved through dual stations or turret-style unwinding racks. When a working roll is about to run out, the equipment will automatically bond the head of the new roll (previously adhered with double-sided tape) to the tail of the old roll, and simultaneously cut off the old roll instantly, completing the roll change. The entire process is accomplished by the tension control system, the storage device (storage unit), and the photoelectric sensor, ensuring that the main line speed remains unchanged and the tension is stable.
