Shenyang Tian'an Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2004 following the national mandate to transform scientific research institutes into market-oriented enterprises. Spun off from the Shenyang Coal Research Institute, it is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, manufacturing, sales, and services of coal mining and tunneling support machinery, as well as coal preparation equipment. To date, the company holds 20 valid invention patents and 40 utility model patents, and has passed 5 national and provincial/ministerial-level technical appraisals. It has been awarded two National Science and Technology Progress Second Prizes, one Special Grand Prize of the China Coal Industry Science and Technology Award, one First Prize of the National Safety Production Award, and eight provincial/ministerial-level Science and Technology Progress Awards (First, Second, and Third Prizes).
