Founded in Xining, Qinghai Province in 2002, Kangpu Group is a national high-tech enterprise and a national green factory specializing in nutritional research and production. It focuses on three main product categories: natural foods unique to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, such as sea buckthorn and goji berries; light health supplements; and functional foods.   The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is one of the world's four ultra-clean areas, with an average altitude of over 3,000 meters. Its long hours of sunshine, large temperature differences, excellent water quality, and fertile soil contribute to the high concentration of beneficial components in its plants, which are several times higher than those found in similar plants at lower altitudes.
