This foundry starch is a high-performance clay sand casting material and cast iron auxiliary material, developed specifically to improve the performance of green sand casting molds. Made from corn and potatoes, it has both bonding and collapsibility after modification. The product has a low gelatinization temperature (65-75℃) and can quickly form an elastic gel structure in the sand mold. When used in synergy with foundry sodium bentonite, it can improve the wet strength of the sand mold (increase by 15%-20%); when compounded with foundry coal powder, it can enhance the air permeability of the sand mold; and when used with foundry compound sand, it can optimize the overall toughness of the sand mold, effectively reducing casting cracks caused by insufficient collapsibility of the sand mold. Aiming at the cast iron casting process, the product's particle size is controlled at 100-120 mesh, with good water solubility, easy dispersion, no residual impurities, and no impact on the surface…
