Silicon Carbide (SiC) for Foundry

Foundry Silicon Carbide (SiC) is a key metallurgical additive in the high-performance clay sand casting material system, as well as an indispensable efficient cast iron auxiliary material in the cast iron smelting process. Made of high-purity quartz sand and petroleum coke smelted in a high-temperature resistance furnace, this product has a SiC content of ≥95%, with excellent high-temperature resistance, chemical stability, deoxidation and carburization capabilities. It can work synergistically with foundry coal powder, foundry compound sand, foundry sodium bentonite and foundry starch in clay sand casting materials to improve the overall quality of cast iron parts from both smelting and molding aspects.
