MMO Titanium Anodes for Electrodes

MMO titanium anodes use high-purity titanium as the base material, with the surface coated with mixed metal oxides (such as IrO₂, RuO₂, Ta₂O₂). Combining excellent electrical conductivity, electrocatalytic activity and corrosion resistance, they are widely used in electrolysis, environmental protection and anti-corrosion fields, effectively replacing traditional graphite and lead electrodes. The manufacturing process includes titanium substrate pretreatment (sandblasting, pickling), repeated coating of precious metal salt solutions, high-temperature calcination and cyclic operations to ensure coating quality. They feature low overpotential, strong corrosion resistance, 2–15 years of lifespan, eco-friendliness and high current efficiency.
