This density-mediated segregation process establishes a precisely calibrated fluid medium where materials stratify according to specific gravity differentials. Lower-density constituents ascend while higher-density components descend, enabling separation efficiency for both ore/gangue differentiation in mining and non-ferrous metal isolation in scrap processing. ​ Milled FeSi 15% has a similar use to Atomised FeSi 15% depending on the desired cutting density. Milled FeSi 65% has a similar use to Atomised FeSi 45% and is used as a coating in welding electrode production but for stronger, more precise welds.
