M12 X Coding 8 Core CAT6A 10 Gigabit Ethernet Connector for Data Centers This M12 X coding 8 core connector belongs to our M12 Circular Connector series. It is specifically designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over CAT6A cabling in data centers and high bandwidth industrial networks. The eight pin X coding configuration supports 10GBASE T which delivers ten thousand megabits per second. Four pairs of shielded twisted wires carry data simultaneously at very high frequencies. The X coding is a newer standard designed to handle the signal integrity requirements of 10G Ethernet. It prevents mismating with D coded or A coded connectors which cannot support these speeds.
