Philic Ball Type Check Valve Overview Philic ball type check valve build in a spherical ball. The full-ported valve seat is uniquely designed allowing the ball to seat leak-tight instead of getting wedge into valve seat. In vacuum or anti-flooding valve application, a "floating" ball is used. Due to its simple flow efficient, low flow resistance and virtually maintenance-free advantages,etc the valve is commonly specified and used in water pipelines. When the pressure behind the seat exceeds that above the ball, liquid is allowed to flow.
