ASTM A513 1010 1020 DOM Steel Tube
Material
DOM (mandrel drawn) steel pipe is made from ERW (electric resistance welded) pipe, then cold-drawn over a mandrel to improve dimensional accuracy, concentricity, surface finish, and mechanical properties. 1008, 1010, and 1020 are low-carbon, plain carbon steels well-suited for forming, bending, and welding. 4130 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel with increased strength and toughness for more demanding applications.
