Very Early Air Sampling Systems work mainly on the principle of early warning of fires by taking air samples and analyzing them for the presence of combustion products (e.g. smoke particles). Such systems usually consist of the following components:  1. **Air Sampling Unit**: This is the core part of the system and is responsible for taking air samples continuously. 2. **Laser Particle Counter**: This is used to analyze the presence of tiny smoke particles in the extracted air samples.
