When pressed firmly into the pre-drilled hole in the can, it snaps inward and locks securely into the can's inner wall, preventing it from falling off.   The retractable pouring spout can be pulled upward to form a guide spout for easy pouring of liquids. After use, press it down to compress it back into place. The flip-top has a sealing rib; pressing it back seals the container. The flip-top also features an anti-theft ring to prevent tampering if broken upon first opening. A PE compression seal between the base and the can opening prevents liquid leakage.
