316/316L Stainless Steel Sheet/Plate

316/316L Stainless Steel Sheet/Plate is a molybdenum-bearing (2–3 %) austenitic alloy that outperforms 304 in chloride-rich and high-temperature environments. Supplied in cold-rolled sheets (0.3–6 mm) and hot-rolled plates (6–80 mm), it meets ASTM A240, EN 10088-2 and JIS G4305, with dual-certification 316/316L guaranteeing <0.03 % carbon for weldability and freedom from inter-granular attack. Surfaces range from 2B, BA, No.4 to 8K mirror and patterned finishes; widths to 2 000 mm and lengths to 12 000 mm are stocked, plus circles and laser-cut blanks.   Key features include a PREN ≥ 24 for superior pitting/crevice corrosion resistance, excellent deep-drawability (40 % elongation), non-magnetic annealed structure, and stability from –196 °C to 925 °C.
